For another great Ticket & Mango video: youtu.be This is a video of our dog Ticket (a pit mix) and our budgie Mango playing. We’ve only had Mango for a couple of months, and he seems to have a strong bond with Ticket. They play like this every day. Enjoy! (Note: Sadly, Ticket passed away earlier this year. Mango now has a female bird as a companion. We have a new puppy, but she’s not quite the gentle soul that Ticket was.)

Oh, and Mango is NOT scared. LOL He’s the instigator in this whole thing! He is a very playful bird. He used to love to ride on Ticket’s back around the house.

Thank you all for the responses! To answer, Ticket (a.k.a Tickee Louise) was most likely a lab/pit mix. She was abused and abandoned as a young dog, and we adopted her via the internet. She was in our lives for 10 years. We loved her so much! You can see how sweet and gentle she was. We feel so lucky to have had her as a member of our family.
Mango the budgie/parakeet has a live-in girlfriend now, so he’s not lonely. We also adopted a new puppy that looks and acts a lot like Ticket.

Sorry about the loss of your dog, I lost my tri-colour cavalier king charles spaniel a month ago as well. He was 10 and passed going through a second bout of bladder stones that led to an obstruction. Ultimately it was very painful for him and we had to put him down I miss him every single day and got him cremated. It’s so hard…. but such a lovely video thanks for sharing!! x
