In early November of 2011, our crew trailered a ’54 black Corvette and a 2012 Centennial ZR1 Corvette to the Texas panhandle town of Shamrock. The city and a beautiful classic art deco former service station from the 1930s are located on what was once the famed Route 66, which stretched from Chicago to Los Angeles. We took the cars there to shoot two entries for the Chevy Super Bowl Commercial contest. Both spots are whimsical, off-the-beaten path, and fun in style. Though we didn’t make it to the finals, we worked hard, but also had a good time shooting and producing the spots. This video is a behind-the-scenes ‘making of’ look at how they both came together….
